Twilight Movies Ranked From Best to Worst

Whether you were Team Edward or Team Jacob, there’s no denying that the Twilight saga has a special place in our hearts. But let’s be real, not all the movies were created equal. Some had us on the edge of our seats, while others had us checking our watches. We’re going to rank all the Twilight movies and discuss what made them stand out or fall flat. Let’s take a deep dive into the world of Twilight and rank the movies from best to last best. Get ready to relive all the drama, romance, and supernatural action that made this series a phenomenon!

1 – Twilight (2008)

The first movie in the series, Twilight, is without a doubt the best! It introduces us to the world of vampires and werewolves and sets the tone for the rest of the series. The chemistry between the lead actors, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, is fantastic, and their portrayal of the characters is spot on. The movie perfectly captures the essence of the book and stays true to its storyline. Honestly, I’ve probably rewatched this movie more than any other in the whole saga! It just takes me back to my early teenage years when the movie first came out and I first discovered the magical world of folklore romance!

2 – Eclipse (2010)

Eclipse is the third movie in the series and is widely considered to be the best of the sequels. The movie focuses on the love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob, and also explores the backstory of the characters. We get to see the motivations of the other Cullens and learn about how they became part of the Cullen family. Team Jacob and Team Edward are also fully in play in this movie, and for good reason! The movie has some breathtaking action scenes, and the tension between the vampires and werewolves adds to the overall excitement.

3 – Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011)

Breaking Dawn Part 1 is the fourth movie in the series and the first part of the finale. The movie follows Bella’s pregnancy and the birth of her half-human, half-vampire child. It’s emotionally charged and has some great performances by the lead actors. The movie also features some visually stunning scenes that are sure to leave an impression. Finally, we get to see a wedding in this movie and witness brief marital bliss between Edward and Bella. I love this movie mostly because of the family aspect. The Cullens stick together and try to save Bella, and even Jacob becomes an extension of the family.

4 – New Moon (2009)

The real origin of Team Edward and Team Jacob. New Moon is the second movie in the series and is a bit of a letdown compared to the first movie. The movie focuses on Bella’s depression after Edward leaves her and her friendship with Jacob. It’s slow-paced and lacks the excitement of the first movie. However, the movie does have some redeeming qualities, such as the introduction of the werewolf pack and the Volturi, the vampire governing body. These elements lay the groundwork for later movies.

5 – Breaking Dawn Part 2 (2012)

Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the final movie in the series and the second part of the finale. The movie follows Bella and Edward as they fight to protect their child from the Volturi. It’s action-packed and has a surprising twist ending, but it feels rushed and lacks the emotional depth of the earlier movies. However, the final battle scene is fantastic! Finally getting to see Bella as a badass vampire fighting alongside Edward, instead of just being protected by him, is definitely worth the wait.
